Review of LNS China’s Phase II Factory Opening Ceremony

On October 15, the second phase of the LNS (Suzhou) Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. (referred to as "LNS China") in the Wujiang Development Zone was successfully completed and officially put into operation. Wujiang District Party Secretary and Wujiang Development Zone Party Working Committee Secretary Ming Li (李銘), Consul General, Consulate General of Switzerland in Shanghai Sacha Bachmann, and LNS Group CEO Gilbert Lile, witnessed the completion and commissioning of the new factory together.

LNS Group is a global leader in machine tool peripheral equipment, with a 40% share of the global market. Since 2007, LNS Group has established its only production base in China in the Wujiang Development Zone. In 2008, the first-phase factory was completed and put into operation, and in 2013, the first-phase expansion was completed. With the continuous growth in market demand, LNS Group officially launched the construction of the second phase of the project in July 2023, with a total investment of $20 million.

Xiaoming Zhao (趙曉明), Operations Manager of LNS China, stated that the second phase of the project would significantly enhance the company's production capacity, with an expected annual output of 9,000 automatic bar feeders, 5,000 oil mist collectors, 5,800 chip conveyors, and 1,000 high pressure coolant systems. Once the project is fully operational, the sales revenue is expected to exceed 600 million RMB. "Previously, our production capacity was one unit every two hours, but now it has been shortened to one unit per hour, achieving a qualitative leap in capacity," Zhao said. "The new factory has also introduced an advanced quality control system, with all material deliveries automated by robots, further improving production efficiency."

Wen Bin Li (李文斌), Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Wujiang District Committee, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of Wujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Wujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, stated in his speech that the successful commissioning of the second phase of LNS China is not only a reflection of the mutual success between LNS Group and the Wujiang Development Zone but also a vivid example of foreign-funded enterprises taking root and developing sustainably in the area. He expressed hope that LNS Group would continue to deepen its commitment to Wujiang, producing more high-quality products in the development zone. The Wujiang Development Zone will uphold its first-class service approach, providing the best services and comprehensive support to foreign enterprises like LNS Group, creating a bright future for high-quality development.

At the event, LNS China also launched its independently developed new product.

District leaders Yong Fang (方勇) and Qi Chen (陳琦), as well as members of the Wujiang Development Zone Party Working Committee and Deputy Directors of the Management Committee Yun Gen Zhu (朱雲根), Jian Sing Shen (沈建興), and Wei Lin Shen (沈衛林), attended the event.
